I Went To A Ball.

This past Thursday, we had our semi-annual Chisholm Ball.

Many students that lived in Chisholm College got on a party bus and went to St. Kilda to a gorgeous venue for dinner, drinks, and dancing.

It was a lovely night that gave us the chance to get dressed up and look our best for a wild night.

It was definitely spent with the best company one could ask for.

The gentlemen.

There was a lot of dancing involved.

And a lovely dinner.

The centerpieces.

After the ball, majority of the Chisholmites got back on the bus and got dropped off at Billboards, a massive club in the middle of the city. We stayed there until 4AM.

Being stranded in the city, we decided to just wander and make fools of ourselves. Surprisingly, everyone was still awake and just as keen as I was to explore.

Although undocumented, a large group of our friends went into Crown Plaza, the casino in the middle of the city and gambled a bit. We had to kill time until 5AM, when the first morning train ran so we could get back into the city. With that said, we didn't get back to the college until 6:30AM.

To the nights we don't remember, and the friends we won't forget.

The best part about living so close to a major city is that there are no off-days. When I have nothing going on during the day and I still have enough sunlight, I'll hop on the tram and explore the city. I usually don't mind doing solo missions into the city, but thank goodness I have people who are always on the same boat.

Parklife

This weekend, I went to my first music festival. It was something I've been looking forward to since I bought the tickets in July. The festival headlined Passion Pit, Nero, Justice, The Presets and many more DJs and bands. The festival started at noon, so most of the people I went with started getting rowdy around 11AM. Unfortunately, I was overcoming the flu, so I could just witness the wildness.

The weather was awful, but ponchos helped us power through.

It was Miguel's first music festival too.

Also discovered a lot of cool bands.

Jess and Justin getting buck.

Nero was definitely one of the best acts.

The Presets.

And finally, I saw JUSTICE † live. I must say I was a little disappointed with their set list, but hey. They still played. It was still memorable.
